THE ARTIST
Post-Contemporary Abstract expressionist
works
New York based. Originals, prints, papers.
Works on canvas:
Atmospheric, modern day abstract expressionist works inspired by the greats of color and gesture. Think Frankenthaler, Rothko, Motherwell, Diebenkorn.
Works on paper:
Punchy, spontaneous works on paper expressing the positive emotions explored through playing with color and energy. Inspired by the gestural freedom of the de Kooning's, and the play of the 80s contemporary pop and street artists like Haring and Basquiat.
Works inspired by the personality, energy, creativity (and chaos!) of the city, as well as the salt and sea of the Lowcountry.
Brooklyn.
Manhattan.
charleston.
